This series of paintings involve 'crosswords'. Frustrated by them in the daily newspapers I decided to make up my own clues and answers! Written in the small house is the answer and if you look closely the clue can be found in the landscape. Embossed paper stuck onto the canvas creates an interesting backdrop for the rich colours that accompany the story.
